Success Story: Shirley M.

Mrs. Shirley C. came into our facility in a lot of pain and having to wear a back brace due to her recent fracture at home from a fall. She was requiring a lot of assist in many areas due to pain and had to learn how to maneuver, manage and protect herself from further possible injuries in her condition. Therapy taught her how to use adaptive equipment and other compensatory techniques to increase her independence and safety to be able to return home again. Shirley did very well and started coming out of her room more on her own and gaining the strength, courage and functional abilities to do so. She was a pleasure for therapy staff to work with and she also gained many friends while being her for her safe Rehab to Home.
