A Labor Day Tribute to Ada Bryant

We celebrate Ada and the important work she did throughout her career. As a CNA, she devoted her time and talents to caring for patients and supporting the nursing team. We are honored to share her story and recognize her years of service. Ada began her career at a small rest home caring for just nine patients. She cooked meals, cleaned, and helped residents with their baths, earning 65 cents an hour. She later moved to Breckinridge County Hospital, where she started at 75 cents an hour. Ada became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and had the opportunity to work in outpatient surgery, labor and delivery, and many other areas of the hospital. After many years of dedicated service, Ada proudly retired from Breckinridge County Hospital. Her story is a wonderful reminder of the compassion, hard work, and dedication that have always been at the heart of caring for others.
