Happy Dog Days of summer. It seems hard to believe that the month of August is upon us and soon the children will be returning to school. While I’m sure children have varied levels of excitement about returning to school, we are excited for the children to return to school as we look forward to visits throughout various school programs. We wish the best to all students, faculty and staff as they return to classes. To all the teachers, thank you for your dedication and commitment to educating our children. We also want to take a moment to thank all of you who so graciously brought fruits and vegetables from your gardens. Our residents enjoyed the extra treats, and they were all delicious. We know gardens are winding down for the year, but we still love any extras from those of you with late gardens. This brings such joy to our residents, and it wouldn’t be possible without our great community.
