Featured Resident: Joyce H.

Our January featured resident is Joyce H.!

Joyce grew up in Hardin County and was one of six children. Joyce and her family worked very hard on the farm. She claims it wasn’t always easy but they found a way to get it all done. They worked together in tobacco, cows and pigs. They also had a very unique pepper crop that required the family to all work together. She later moved to Breckinridge County where she married and had 4 children – 1 boy and 3 girls. Joyce has very fond memories of babysitting and playing with her grandchildren. She happily remembers playing many games ranging from board games to intense games of hide-n-seek. We’re so thankful for the fun Joyce brings to Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab with her unique personality.
