Resident Spotlight

We would like to Welcome Mrs. Hella A. to the facility. She has had and amazing journey thus far. She was born in Wiesbaden Germany. She was 14 years old when WW2 happened. Mrs. Hella said, “I could remember our Germany shepherd would bark and would alert us of bombs so we could get in the bomb shelter.” During that time, she met her husband who was a soldier and a green Berea. They moved to the United States in 1958 where she had private lessons to learn English. In 1968 they moved to Breckinridge county. She is a member of the St. Romuald Catholic Church. She enjoys the news and music. She worked at our local Walmart for 25 years.
