Short-Term Therapy Success Stories
Ms. Rosie Z. came to our facility in December with various issues. She would barely talk to anyone, wanted to stay in bed, did not eat well, and had poor overall health. We started a routine in therapy with her slowly and gradually getting to know her wants, likes and needs. She gradually became more comfortable with the therapy staff talking, eating and was able to tolerate being around others more. She would say hello to staff by name and began to come out of her room on her own as well. Rosie has made drastic improvements from the time she came here and no one would have thought she would improve this far. She gets up and out of her room daily to be around people and enjoys watching TV in the lobby area. She will communicate with staff for all her wants and needs and sometimes to just to say hello. We are very proud of Rosie and her accomplishment with therapy!
